Hand Finished Timber Frames
Our hand-finished timber frames are made in-house in Geelong. We use layered stains, natural oils and carefully selected profiles to create frames that feel warm, durable and resolved.
These frames work well for artworks, photographs, certificates and objects where a simple material finish can make the piece feel more considered.
Custom Framing
Bring in your artwork, print, photograph, certificate, textile or object and we’ll guide you through the options.
We can keep things simple, or build a more detailed framing solution using conservation materials, specialist glass, custom matboards, spacers or deeper profiles where needed.
Every project is different. We’ll help find the right frame for the work, the space and your budget.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need an appointment?
No appointment is needed during opening hours. You’re welcome to drop into our Newtown showroom with your artwork, certificate, photograph, print, canvas or object.
For large, fragile or more complex projects, you’re welcome to get in touch first so we can make sure there is enough time and space to look at it properly.
Can you work to different budgets?
Yes. Some projects need a simple, well-made frame. Others need conservation materials, specialist glass or a more detailed approach.
We’ll talk through the options clearly and help find the right level for the piece, the space and your budget.
Do you frame certificates and everyday pieces?
Yes. We frame graduation certificates, awards, family photographs, posters, prints, memorabilia and other personal pieces.
A piece does not need to be expensive to be worth framing carefully.
Do you offer conservation framing?
Yes. We offer conservation-conscious materials and protective glazing options for artworks, photographs, documents and objects that need longer-term care.
We’ll explain when conservation materials are recommended and when a simpler approach may be enough.
Can you re-frame existing artwork?
Yes. We can re-frame existing artworks, prints, photographs and objects.
This might involve replacing an old frame, updating the presentation, changing the matboard, improving the glass, or making the piece feel more resolved in its current space.
Do you stretch canvases?
Yes. We stretch painted canvases and canvas prints, and can finish them with timber or floating frames where appropriate.
Do you cut matboards?
Yes. We offer mat cutting for artists, students, schools, photographers and framing projects.
This can include single mounts, repeat sizes, exhibition preparation and school presentation work.
Do you have ready-made frames?
Yes. We offer a changing range of ready-made, workshop and selected stock frames.
These can be a good option for smaller works, photographs, certificates, gifts and projects where a full custom frame is not required.
Do you frame objects or unusual pieces?
Yes. We can frame or present objects, textiles, keepsakes, dimensional works and other items that need more than a standard flat frame.
Bring the piece in and we can talk through what is possible.
Can you help artists, exhibitions or larger projects?
Yes. We work with artists, collectors, designers, schools and exhibition projects.
This can include framing multiple works, preparing pieces for display, canvas stretching, mat cutting, consistent frame finishes and advice around how works sit together in a space.
Do you install or hang artworks?
For simple works, we can advise on hanging and display.
For larger or more complex projects, we can discuss installation support or recommend an appropriate installer.
